Aeration

Alleviates compaction in the soil allowing oxygen into the rootzone. Aerating the soil will create small fractures in the soil allowing the roots to develop and exploit oxygen and nutrients.

Compact soil will create hydrogen sulfide creating anaerobic conditions, this is toxic to plants and can be identified by a black layer and the unpleasant smell of sulphur.

Liquid Turf Health Spray

This is a liquid spray application of Iron, sugars and carbohydrates which is absorbed by the plant through the leaf. Grass in the winter experiences prolonged cold temperatures and reduced light levels, this reduces the lawns ability to sustain its health and continue its defence against stress and disease pressure.

This kind of nutrition will maintain your lawn during the winter months, so it can be in the best possible condition when spring finally arrives.

Granular Fertiliser

Nutrition for your lawn is just as important in the winter as it is during the summer. During the autmn and winter your lawn requires specific nutrients which will strengthen the plant and develop a strong root system, protecting the lawn throughout winter.

Our programme consists of conventional and slow release granulars offering the lawn a balanced nutrition supply producing an Elite lawn.

Pesticide Control

Available if your lawn is suffering from destructive pests. The treatment will depend on an assessment of the problem, dealing with pests is the first step in allowing your lawn to flourish.

Moss and Weed Control

A liquid application to control Moss or a selective weed killer spray are available. Once the product has taken effect it will control unsightly weeds and moss from your lawn, this will dramatically improve the appearance of your lawn allowing the grass to flourish.

Light Scarifying/Raking

This will depend on the condition of the lawn and the weather too. If the conditions are right light scarifying/ raking will remove the last of the moss and weeds while helping airflow around the plant, this will help to suppress disease outbreak.

This treatment will help maximise the lawns ability to receive air, water and nutrients into the soil.

Fungicide Spray

Sometimes mother nature takes its course and the threat of disease is too big to overcome. Spraying a fungicide when a disease outbreak occurs could save your lawn from widespread damage and loss of grass cover. The loss of grass cover will allow weeds and moss to gain an advantage.

What is Thatch and why do i need to remove it?

Thatch is the build up of dead organic material such as grass clippings, dead and decaying plants which accumulates on the surface of the soil and the base of your lawn. Reducing thatch/organic build up will encourage a healthy growth habit for healthier stronger grass. This will improve airflow and improve surface drainage which will reduce the potential for disease, allowing water and nutrients into the soil, achieving a healthier lawn for all year round quality.

My lawn is wet/waterlogged can you help?

Yes, firstly a soil analysis will determine any remediation work such as aeration or a topdressing; to improve drainage and soil structure this will improve the fertility and microbial activity of the soil, as a healthy free draining soil is essential for a high quality lawn.

Do i need to be home whilst the treatment is taking place?

No, we will contact you before your scheduled treatment, and as long as you can leave us access to your lawn we are happy to work without you being at home.
